These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Atlas platform ("Atlas"), which is owned and operated by Senior Care at Home Limited t/a Right at Home UK, a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 07306854 ("Right at Home UK", "we", "us", "our"). By using Atlas, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Atlas, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms.
- You agree to comply with them.
- You have the authority to enter into this agreement.
If you do not accept these Terms, you are not permitted to use Atlas.
2. Service Description
Atlas is an AI-powered knowledge base, search, and document indexing platform built using Google Vertex AI, Gemini, Supabase, Clerk, Vercel, and other integrated services. Atlas provides natural-language search, document retrieval, admin controls, and feature request handling.
We may update, improve, or modify the service at any time without notice.
3. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
To use Atlas, you must:
- Create an account through Clerk (our authentication provider)
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity tied to your account
If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not use Atlas in any way that:
- Violates laws or regulations
- Harms, overloads, or disrupts the platform
- Attempts to bypass or interfere with authentication or security
- Attempts to reverse-engineer or scrape the system
- Uses automated tools beyond permitted API usage
- Attempts to access data belonging to other users
- Uploads malware, viruses, or harmful scripts
- Engages in harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour
Any abusive behaviour will result in immediate suspension or a permanent ban.
5. API Use and Abuse
Atlas provides API access for approved users.
You must not:
- Exceed documented or implied rate limits
- Attempt to bypass rate limiting or monitoring
- Send automated requests at unreasonable or harmful volume
- Use the API for malicious, exploitative, or fraudulent purposes
We monitor API activity. If you engage in abuse, misuse, or malicious activity, we may:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your API access
- Permanently ban your account
- Charge you the full cost of ALL API usage generated, including any extraordinary fees caused by the abusive activity
You are responsible for all API usage from your account, authorised or not.
6. Intellectual Property
Atlas, including all software, branding, content, architecture, documentation, and generated outputs, is the exclusive property of Senior Care at Home Limited t/a Right at Home UK.
You must not:
- Copy or redistribute the platform
- Claim ownership of our IP, systems, branding, models, or documentation
- Attempt to reproduce any part of the system architecture
- Remove proprietary notices
We may revoke access if IP misuse occurs.
7. Availability and Service Modifications
We aim to keep the service running smoothly but do not guarantee:
- Continuous uptime
- Error-free performance
- Permanent storage of your data
- Compatibility with your own systems
We may suspend or modify the service temporarily or permanently.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in abuse, fraud, or harmful behaviour
- You pose a security risk
- We are required to do so by law
You remain responsible for all fees incurred before termination.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Atlas is provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- Accuracy
- Reliability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Continuous availability
Use the service at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Right at Home UK is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profit, revenue, data, or business
- Security breaches caused by third-party providers
- Service interruption or downtime
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
Our total liability will never exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the new Terms.
